"I seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own in regard to a given matter. Nine-tenths of the trouble with people generally is just here. Nine-tenths of the difficulties are overcome when our hearts are ready to do the Lord's will, whatever it may be. When one is truly in this state, it is usually but a little way to the knowledge of what His will is."
- George Mueller, Answers to Prayer (Chicago, Ill.; Moody Publishers, 2007), 11.
This is the first part of this quote. I will post the other parts the following days. Stay tuned.

Beginnings
This blog is going to be centered around the many quotes that portrayed the lives of godly men and women throughout the ages. I pray that you would be encouraged and strengthened with the strength, faith, and love that God has demonstrated through these people. Sinners they were (are), like us, but they have great insight, for all of us, on how to live wholly devoted lives for the sake of Christ. That is the main theme of this blog. To be encouraged and strengthened on how to live a life completely sold out for Jesus Christ, on fire for the Gospel. This verse pretty much sums up this blog:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted."
Hebrews 12:1-3 (All scriptures taken from ESV version)
